Rhododendron is a wooded pocket of the Mt. Hood corridor, right between the village of Welches and Government Camp. You can grab pizza and a beer at the Zigzag Inn, coffee down the road, or a sit-down dinner at the Rendezvous in Welches, a drive from the cabin. For the outdoors, Mt. Hood Skibowl and Timberline Lodge are up the highway, and Trillium Lake, with its classic mountain reflection, is a short drive in summer. Hiking, the Salmon and Zigzag rivers, and Wildwood Recreation Site are all close by. (Check current road and weather conditions in winter.)

We loved our stay! The place was cozy, clean, and in a beautiful location. It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring, and we really appreciated being able to bring our dog. Would definitely stay again!
