Amazing location just 1 block from the neighborhood swimming pool (heated; seasonal), tennis court, basketball court and playground. Mount Hood is less than half an hour away and offers world-class downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow tubing, and thrilling downhill mountain biking in the Summer. Beautiful alpine hiking and biking trails are everywhere. Grocery stores and restaurants can be found just down the street in Brightwood and in Welches down Hwy 26. If you don't feel like driving to the mountain there is a ski bus stop in Brightwood, just minutes away.

Alice was always responsive and helpful. I originally wanted something that was waterfront on the river but with young kids having it off property but very close by was the better option. Additionally the house was geared toward young ones with a room that had two separate bunk beds (4 beds) but in a room that had a wall partition for some privacy between them was great. The gnome home full of toys and the game room were very welcome retreats after a day of exploring for them. Thanks for a great experience!

We stayed for 3 nights with our two kids plus my mom and had an amazing stay. The location was great - right by the ZigZag trail and also the Salmon River which the kids absolutely loved. We went took little trips to Timberline lodge and also a day trip to Hood River. The house itself is just as pictured - three rooms with three queen beds plus a fourth, split room with 2 double bunk beds. The kids (8 and 5) were obsessed with the hidden playroom and also the game room. We enjoyed the hot tub, but didn’t get a chance to hit the community pool. The kitchen was really well stocked and bbq was perfect. Everything was super clean and even had plenty of cookware, dish ware etc for easy meals at the house. Would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this house. It was big enough for my family and my sister's family, and amazing for kids with the secret play room and the game room out back (which allowed the kids to watch movies as loud as they wanted while I sat quietly with my coffee in the main house). I did not expect it to have an Xbox with a bunch of games for us to use! That was a great surprise.
