The cabin sits on a quiet dead-end road in Welches, deep in the trees with a creek running past the property. You have access to Mt. Hood National Forest trailheads, the Salmon River, and the golf course, market, and restaurants in Welches proper. The Old Salmon River Trail and Mirror Lake offer forest hikes; check current trail conditions, and Government Camp, Timberline Lodge, and Ski Bowl are all a short drive up US-26 for skiing in winter and alpine hiking through the summer. Sandy is a convenient stop for groceries on the way up the mountain.

The place was very clean and absolutely beautiful! The host was amazing, very kind and welcoming. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone! 💕

This log cabin is gorgeous. It feels even bigger on the inside than the photos suggested, maybe because of the lofted ceiling and skylight. We found the kitchen quite well appointed and usable. There were many beautiful hikes within driving distance. The cabin is quite secluded by nearby trees and foliage.
